Festival season is upon us and do we have the lineup for you! Coast over and join us as we roll out the best in music, art, food, and culture. Corpus Christi has something for everyone this fall, so read on and choose your favorites from these can’t miss fall festivals.

September:

MusicWalk

Celebrate Corpus Christi's recognition as a "music-friendly city" at the MusicWalk press ceremony on September 1st during ArtWalk. This designation highlights the city's dedication to nurturing its music community and establishing itself as a cultural hub for music enthusiasts. To celebrate, the Corpus Christi Music Commission added three street stages to ArtWalk, enhancing local musical presence and encouraging downtown venues to host shows featuring local musicians. September 1, 2023

 

Conquer the Coast 

Every year, cyclers from the Coastal Bend area, Texas, and beyond make their way to the Gulf Coast Capital for the Conquer the Coast Century Ride race. The annual tradition is in its 21st year and continues to grow as it earns its reputation of being one of the most unique rides in Texas.   Cyclers can choose from 66-, 21-, and 10-mile rides for a cycling experience that delivers an unforgettable journey through scenic routes and a rewarding experience for riders of all skill levels. September 16, 2023

 

Rockin’ K Farms

This highly anticipated annual fall festival runs late September through November and attracts families from all over the Coastal Bend. Enjoy photo ops, delicious food and drinks, over 20 attractions, the iconic maze, and more. Get the whole family together and treat everyone to a memorable tradition. The maze paths are five foot wide and maze grounds are flat, so the area is even wheelchair accessible. September 23 - November 5, 2023

Celebration of Flight

Hawk migration is a true spectacle of the natural world and Corpus Christi HawkWatch has the largest and most diverse in the country. In celebration, large groups will gather at Hazel Bazemore County Park for a family-friendly event with free activities in the park. Volunteers will be on hand to help identify hawks for visitors, and vendors, raptor merchandise, and food trucks will be present throughout the festival. September 28 - October 1, 2023

 

Corpus Christi 7-Day Film Project Screening (CC7D) 

This fun-film making event celebrates film makers and gives the local community an annual event to test their creative skills. Participants are tasked with making a film in 7 days, and this event features a “butt-numbathon” as all qualifying CC7D films are shown in a premier theater experience at Alamo Drafthouse Corpus ChristiSeptember 3, 2023

October:

PRIDE Parade  

Celebrate PRIDE with a family-friendly parade along the Corpus Christi Bayfront! This celebration comes with no shortage of inclusivity, lively music, and fun times. The parade starts at 3:00 p.m. this year at the Art Center of Corpus Christi. Coast in for an exciting march followed by a block party at the end! October 7, 2023

 

Solar Annular Eclipse  

Enjoy the solar annular eclipse from the Gulf Coast Capital in a unique way this year. This “ring of fire” occurs when the moon passes in front of the sun but is too far from Earth to completely obscure it. According to space.com, Whitecap Beach is the best site to get the longest view possible of the annular eclipse, which is located at the northern end of Padre Island National Seashore. Expect to see the eclipse for 4 minutes and 52 seconds starting at 11:56 a.m. October 14, 2023

 

Texas Jazz Festival 

Jazz makes its way to Corpus Christi in October for the longest and largest free-running festival in the world. Held at Heritage Park, the Texas Jazz Festival is a free event open to all ages and features incredible live music, food, and market vendors.  Coast over and join us in celebrating the 62nd year for this signature event.  October 20 - 22, 2023

 

Surftoberfest

Enjoy a coastal spin on the classic German Octoberfest celebration. Join in on the Homebrew Competition, a Beer Stein Holding Contest, German fare, live music, and more. This one-day festival is located in the heart of downtown at Water Street Market and a local favorite, so coast over and celebrate Octoberfest, coastal style. October 21, 2023

 

Dia de los Muertos Festival

Recognized as one of the nation’s top Dia de Los Muertos celebrations, our local festival brings life, music, and culture to the downtown community. Honor and celebrate this annual tradition with us in the midst of vendors and food trucks lining the streets, sugar skulls galore and costumes at every turn, arts and crafts, ofrendas, and lots of music. There’s also a Children’s Corner, where kids can let loose and have their fun their own way as they climb, paint, jump, and more.  October 28, 2023

 

November:

Greek Food Festival 

Join us as Greece comes to the Gulf Coast Capital in an annual celebration of food, music, and culture. Held at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, this festival celebrates Greek culture with live music, Greek dancing, Greek Food, Church Tours, and more. Choose from Gyros and Spanakopita to various types of Baklava and Greek Beer, enjoy some dancing, and experience Greece in your own way. November 3 - 5, 2023

 

Jewish Food Festival 

The 38th annual Jewish Food Festival is returning this year to share Jewish heritage with the community at Congregation Beth Israel. Guests can expect food, a vintage shop, a raffle, a silent auction, dancing, and music. The menu features many Jewish favorites like Lox and Bagel, Matzo Ball Soup, Cabbage Rolls with Challah, and more. This festival offers free admission, but other items are for sale, and proceeds benefit the local temple. November 11-12, 2023

Ranch Hand Weekend 

Coast over for a weekend of food, fun, and family as the city of Kingsville celebrates the Ranch Hand Weekend on November 17 and 18. This festival honors the city’s rich cultural heritage as one of the mainstays of the Texas ranching industry. As you explore the ranch itself, enjoy shopping, a wine walk, tree lighting, a hearty breakfast, festival, orchestra, a country concert, and more. November 17 - 18, 2023

December

 

Festival of India 

This annual festival started as a community health fair to provide free services such as medical tests and blood pressure checks and has now transformed into a larger festival that allows Corpus Christi residents to experience Indian traditions, culture, and dance at the Sri Venkateswara Temple. The event features group prayer, cultural music and dance, Indian food, henna tattoos, and shopping for Indian jewelry and clothing. Everyone is invited to experience India, so mark your calendars and come experience India and everything it has to offer. December 2, 2023
