Santa is trading in his sleigh and fur coat for some fins and a wetsuit during a special holiday visit to the Texas State Aquarium! Santa will plunge into the H-E-B Caribbean Sea exhibit for a unique encounter and festive photo op with aquarium goers. Who knows? Jolly old St. Nick might even be joined by some reindeer or elves in during his underwater visit to the Coastal Bend.

With more than 7,000 lights, 2,000 ornaments and a nativity star, this new 66-foot-tall artificial Christmas tree is the perfect holiday wonderland. This is a great photo-op for the whole family!

4. Go Ice Skating at the American Bank Center

No Christmas season is complete without a little ice skating! The American Bank Center's inaugural Coastal Christmas is the celebration of the season with something for every member of the family. Every night enjoy ice skating, a snowman bounce house, a giant life-size snow globe for kids to go inside, festive decor and a huge Christmas tree!  

5. Look at Christmas Lights at Candy Cane Lane

This neighborhood has one of the best Holiday lights display in Texas. Candy Cane Lane is the perfect place to take the kiddos to see lights, without costing you a dime! You can either drive through the multiple streets decked out in Christmas lights or you can enjoy a nice stroll through the neighborhood. 6. Enjoy a Holiday Latte
