Sugar skulls represent a departed soul. They are a reflection of the folk art style of big happy smiles, colorful icing, sparkly tin and glittery adornments. At Dia de los Muertos, you can find almost 15 different face painters painting on this tradition. There will be ample opportunities to have your face painted any way you like, right on-site! Win.

The Altars

Dia de los Muertos is a holiday that focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died and help support their spiritual journey. The Altars at Dia de los Muertos is the base of it all. The show, "Altars of Rememberance" will be on display in the Ritz Theater for the duration of the festival. Walk through this beautiful exhibit and remember those who have passed.
