Admission to the Art Museum is completely free for everyone that visits in Summer 2020! Enjoy one of Corpus Christi's unique indoor attractions in a fun and safe way.
You will see multiple new exhibitions during your visit to AMST, including never before seen works from the Permanent Collection, an installation by local artist Jennifer Arnold, and the fun Creative Distancing exhibition which highlights the creativity of our local and national community in light of our world today.
Check out some of the Art Museum of South Texas new procedures for keeping everyone safe on your visit.
Visitors will enter the Museum as usual through the doors by the pink wall, where an AMST Staff member will be present to open the door and help maintain a safe flow of traffic at our entrance.
Face covering encouraged:
All AMST Staff will be wearing face coverings and visitors are encouraged to wear a face-covering for entry and the duration of your visit. AMST safety measures reflect the state-wide recommendations for re-opening.
Social distancing will be enforced:
Look for signs and floor decals to help you gauge the appropriate six feet between you and other visitors. Of course, families and those who came together may continue to visit the museum together.
Hand-washing and sanitizing:
You will see some changes to AMST, including new hand sanitizing stations throughout the Museum, and the removal of paper materials and touch-based interactive items. Additionally AMST Staff will be sanitizing public areas continuously throughout the day.
