It didn’t take long for House of Rock to open its doors and fire up its kitchen the night after Hurricane Harvey arrived in the Coastal Bend.

Despite having a limited menu and less than a full staff, owner Casey Lain and a small crew of employees managed to offer food and beverages to storm weary customers. On Saturday night, at about the time they had decided to close, a group of 30 tired first responders arrived looking for the first meal they had since that morning. Casey and his team were only happy to keep their doors open.
