Permit Request Form
Prior to filming that requires exclusive use of Public Property, a Film Permit must be obtained. If the filming does not require the exclusive use of Public Property, an Acknowledgement of Filming Activity will be given to the filmmaker in lieu of the Film Permit to confirm they are filming legally. The items below are required before a Film Permit or an Acknowledgement of Filming Activity may be issued. Please fill out the following information to begin the process.
Please provide a Certificate of Insurance to filmmusic@visitcorpuschristi.com with the following requirements:
• City of Corpus Christi as Additional Insured (1201 Leopard Street; Corpus Christi, TX 78401)
• $1,000,000 Coverage
• Waiver of Subrogation
• Workers’ Compensation Coverage
• Auto Insurance Coverage
Once your application has been reviewed and accepted by the Corpus Christi Film Commission and the City of Corpus Christi’s Risk Management Department, a $25 fee will be required before a permit can be issued. A preferred two-week turnaround time is suggested for permit approval and processing.
