Global Meetings Industry Day
Meetings Make Waves in Corpus Christi
Meetings and events are powerful drivers of economic growth and community impact. In 2024 alone, meeting and event-related travel spending contributed over $126 billion to the U.S. economy, directly supporting nearly 620,000 jobs.
In Corpus Christi, conferences, trade shows, and events do more than bring people together—they fuel our local economy. Visitors attending meetings here stay in our hotels, dine at our restaurants, shop in our stores, and experience all that the Gulf Coast has to offer. These events generate vital revenue for our community while showcasing Corpus Christi as a premier destination for business and leisure.
From industry conventions that spark innovation to corporate retreats that inspire collaboration, meetings in Corpus Christi create lasting value that extends well beyond the event itself. Meetings generate funds that help build a better place for us to live, work, and play.
