Destination Management Accreditation Program (DMAP)DMAP Seal

In July 2024, Visit Corpus Christi successfully achieved the requirements for a four-year renewal of their DMAP certification. This renewal highlights the organization’s ongoing dedication to meeting over 100 rigorous performance standards, reinforcing their credibility and commitment to industry best practices.

Originally achieving this honor in July 2021, Visit Corpus Christi became one of less than 200 international cities to achieve DMAP accreditation. The globally recognized Destination Management Accreditation Program serves as a visible industry distinction that defines quality and performance standards in destination marketing and management.

Achieving DMAP accreditation positions a destination organization or CVB as a valued and respected organization in the community and increases its credibility among stakeholders. To become accredited, a destination organization must demonstrate compliance with more than 100 performance standards.

Accreditation standards are set by an independent panel of industry veterans representing a diverse selection of destination organizations. Standards are regularly revisited and revised to reflect the evolution of best practices in our industry.
