Experience the ultimate beer fest with a coastal twist. The 9th annual Surftoberfest is happening on Saturday, October 18, 2025 in Downtown Corpus Christi in Water Street Market. Surtoberfest is more than just a celebration of German heritage, it's also the most magical annual beer festival in Corpus Christi! Sample draught brews from all of Corpus Christi's local breweries or raise your stein in the pop-up tasting room in the Waterstreet Garden. To get authentic with it, buy a souvenir stein at the start of the festival and refill as you go. Prost!

Will there be live music?

Yes. Surftoberfest music lineup is packed with local talent, bands, and DJs ready to keep the vibes high all WURSTfest long!

Do I have to be 21+ to attend?

No. While you do have to provide valid ID to purchase alcoholic beverages, there’s also fun for the kids! Bring the whole family and take the kids to enjoy face painting, cookie decorating, and hands-on learning at the mobile Port Learning Lab!

What food and drinks will be available?

There will be plenty of food and drinks to keep you fueled throughout the day! Get ready to feast on crispy Schnitzel Sliders, warm, freshly baked soft pretzels, and sip on a variety of imported and local beers.

Are there non-alcoholic options available?

Yes. While Surftoberfest is primarily a beer festival, non-alcoholic beverages and food options will be available for attendees who prefer alternatives or are designated drivers.

Will there be costume contests?

Yes! Bring your pups dressed in their best costume to compete on the main stage for the Pet Costume Contest. Strap up your lederhosen and enter the Lederhosen Contest, and prepare to crush the crowd with your stein holding abilities for three rounds at the Stein Holding Contest. Be sure to sign up at the Water Street Restaurant Tent.

Will there be vendors?

Yes. There will be plenty of vendors at Surftoberfest offering the best in handcrafted goods, food, and more. Check back here for a list of participating vendors.

How much does it cost to attend?

Attending the event is free, but you will have to pay for food, drinks, and any shopping.

Where can I park?

Parking is available throughout Downtown Corpus Christi. Arrive early to secure a good spot, or consider using rideshare services for convenience and to ensure a safe trip home.
