Cyclists from the Coastal Bend, across Texas, and beyond make their way to Corpus Christi each fall for the annual Conquer the Coast Century Ride. The ride begins in the heart of Corpus Christi at Whataburger Field and features 69-, 21-, and 10-mile routes for cyclists of all ages and skill levels. Now in its 23rd year, this signature cycling event has earned a reputation as one of the most unique rides in Texas, offering scenic coastal routes and an unforgettable experience on the Texas Gulf Coast.
Celebration of Flight
September 25-27, 2026 | 9 AM - 5 PM | Hazel Bazemore Park
Each fall, Corpus Christi HawkWatch celebrates one of the largest and most diverse hawk migrations in the country with Celebration of Flight at Hazel Bazemore County Park. This free, family-friendly event features hawk identification with knowledgeable volunteers, local vendors, raptor merchandise, food trucks, and activities throughout the park. It's one of the best opportunities to experience the incredible fall bird migration along the Texas Gulf Coast.
Run the Runway

Get ready for a one-of-a-kind experience at Corpus Christi International Airport during Run the Runway. Whether you're running or walking, you'll enjoy up-close views of planes, airport trucks, and special vehicles while participating in the 1K Kids Fun Run or the 5K. Proceeds benefit Wings of Texas, a nonprofit promoting inclusivity throughout the Coastal Bend, making this annual event a fun way to support the community.

Rockin’ K Farms

Rockin' K Farms is a highly anticipated annual fall festival that hosts the South Texas Pumpkin Fest from late September through early November, attracting families from across the Coastal Bend. Enjoy more than 20 attractions, including a Western-themed pumpkin patch, iconic corn maze, Texas-themed murals, mega slide, farm animals, paintball, apple blasters, and festive photo opportunities. Refuel with delicious food, over-the-top desserts, and drinks from the 21+ cantina, then stay into the evening for live music on select dates and seasonal fireworks. With flat grounds and five-foot-wide maze paths, the festival is also wheelchair accessible, making it a welcoming experience for visitors of all ages.

Surftoberfest

Celebrate Oktoberfest with a coastal twist during Surftoberfest at Executive Surf Club in Downtown Corpus Christi. Enjoy a Homebrew Competition, Beer Stein Holding Contest, German-inspired fare, live music, and more during this one-day festival at Water Street Market. It's a local favorite and a great way to experience Oktoberfest, Corpus Christi style.
Sharkathon

Sharkathon stands as one of the largest conservation-based shark fishing tournaments. Held at Padre Island National Seashore and Corpus Christ beaches (exclusions apply), this event aims to educate fishermen on the importance of catch-and-release when it comes to sharks and the importance of sea life preservation. This tournament has evolved over the years and with its growth comes an increase in cash and prizes, now totaling over $80,000. Proceeds from raffle sales are used to support educational opportunities for underprivileged children.
Dia de los Muertos Festival

Recognized as one of the nation's premier Día de Los Muertos celebrations, this annual festival transforms Downtown Corpus Christi with music, culture, and tradition. Celebrate alongside local vendors, food trucks, colorful sugar skulls, arts and crafts, ofrendas, and live entertainment while honoring loved ones. Families can also enjoy the Children's Corner, featuring hands-on activities, games, and fun for younger visitors.

Choose from Gyros and Spanakopita to various types of Baklava and Greek Beer, enjoy some dancing, and experience Greece in your own way.
Corpus Christi Beer Festival

Sample craft beer from breweries across Texas during the Corpus Christi Beer Festival at Heritage Park. This annual event also features live music, food trucks, local vendors, and free Family Art Time activities. Admission is free, and guests ages 21 and older can purchase tasting tickets to enjoy a wide variety of brews. This is a cashless event.
Ranch Hand Festival

The annual Jewish Food Festival is returning this year to share Jewish heritage with the community at Congregation Beth Israel. Guests can expect food, a vintage shop, a raffle, a silent auction, dancing, and music. The menu features many Jewish favorites like Lox and Bagel, Matzo Ball Soup, Cabbage Rolls with Challah, and more. This festival offers free admission, but other items are for sale, and proceeds benefit the local temple.
