Newport Pass Beach

Kick Back at Newport Pass Beach on Mustang Island

Newport Pass Beach is a dreamy oasis and some would even say, a hidden gem. With it's miles of sandy shores stretching down Mustang Island, Newport Pass Beach is the place to be to escape the busy beach scene and find the space to explore, kick back, and soak up that Gulf Coast sun.

Between Mile Marker 99 and Mile Marker 103 is one of the few stretches of beach that does not require a parking permit

  • Pick up a complimentary trash bag or two from the Visitor Information Center downtown or from the blue boxes that are located as you come onto the beach at all access roads. These bags are cleverly designed so they leave sand behind and won’t catch the wind and fly off down the beach. Trash cans can be found at every beach entrance and all along the beach. Thanks for doing your part to leave our beaches better for the next visitor!
