WHAT:
The Corpus Christi Film and Music Commission, a strategic initiative of Visit Corpus Christi in partnership with the Downtown Management District and Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will host the second annual MusicWalk in downtown Corpus Christi. This year’s event is slated to be bigger and better as a two-day event and an additional partnership that combines the Gulf Coast Capital’s coastal culture with Texas A&M University’s Islander spirit. Through a unified partnership with the Downtown Management District and Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, this collaboration will highlight the university’s deep connection to the community, offering students, their families, and alumni a unique opportunity to engage with the local culture and music scene while highlighting small businesses and artists in an undeniable blend of community spirit and creativity.

ABOUT VISIT CORPUS CHRISTI:

ABOUT CORPUS CHRISTI DOWNTOWN MANAGEMENT DISTRICT:
The Corpus Christi Downtown Management District (CCDMD), established in 1993, is a professional Downtown Management District representing property owners and stakeholders within the area bounded by Kinney Street to I-3, and Lower Broadway to Corpus Christi marina L and T-heads. In 2023, the property owners voted to renew the district through 2033. In 2015, the CCDMD led stakeholders through a branding process to name the Marina Arts District while retaining CCDMD to refer to the organization and the programs and services they provide. The vision of the CCDMD is to create the most vibrant downtown on the Gulf of Mexico.
