WHAT:   

Join the Corpus Christi Sports Commission, a strategic initiative of Visit Corpus Christi, for the official host city announcement for not one, but four USA Table Tennis Events in 2024. The event comes to the Gulf Coast Capital from a winning bid by the Corpus Christi Sports Commission that will undoubtedly bring a new level of excitement to the city's sports scene on both the national and international level. We cordially invite members of the media, Table Tennis enthusiasts, and the public to attend.   

The four events to be hosted in Corpus Christi are:  

  • International Table Tennis Federation Pan American Cup   

  • International Table Tennis Federation Para U.S. Open  

  • U.S. National Adult Team Trials  

  • World Table Tennis Feeder Event   

WHO: 

Speakers include President and CEO of Visit Corpus Christi, Brett Oetting, Corpus Christi Sports Commission Executive Director, Joey Jewell, City of Corpus Christi Mayor, Paulette Guajardo, and USA Table Tennis CEO, Virginia Sung.   

Also in attendance will be US Paralympic Bronze Medalist, Jenson Van Emburgh and USA Table Tennis Event Coordinator, Vlad Farcas.
