CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – August 14, 2026 – Visit Corpus Christi's nominations are now open for the annual State of Tourism Gala & Hospitality Awards, presented by American Bank | Prosperity Bank. The annual event celebrates the outstanding individuals and businesses whose dedication, service and contributions help Corpus Christi’s tourism and hospitality industry thrive.
Each year, the public is invited to recognize exceptional hospitality professionals and businesses by submitting nominations across a variety of award categories. Business categories include Culinary Experience of the Year, Attraction of the Year and more, while individual categories include Housekeeper of the Year, Chef of the Year, Service Professional of the Year and others.
Nominations are open through August 31, followed by a public online voting period from October 1-31.
