CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – October 26, 2022 – Corpus Christi’s new Fall-Winter Visitor Inspiration Guide is hitting the shelves and is now available in digital format on the Visit Corpus Christi website. For the first time, visitors now have a visitor guide promoting fall and winter tourism to the city and enhancing the travel experience during the cooler season in Corpus Christi.

The new inspiration guide serves as a tool for visitors looking to experience a variety of memorable offerings while vacationing in The Gulf Coast Capital in the unexpected months, including the holiday season. The guide outlines all things lodging, dining, and experiences in Corpus Christi by giving readers an inside look at the coast and how they too can enjoy the destination year-round by “coasting their own way."

“Our marketing is working as we are seeing large increases in out of state visitors from Northern states over the fall and winter.” said Brett Oetting, President and CEO at Visit Corpus Christi. “Corpus Christi is a year around destination, and we are putting an emphasis on driving visitation and spending during this non-traditional time of year.”

The Fall-Winter Visitor Inspiration Guide will be one of the primary tourism advertising and promotional pieces with 50,000 copies being distributed throughout the city and beyond in efforts to attract new visitors as well as welcome old visitors back into the city.

The local hospitality and tourism industry is a 1.5-billion-dollar industry that serves as the second largest economic driver to the city of Corpus Christi. The Fall-Winter visitor guide is expected to draw in a broader audience facilitating marketing efforts of Corpus Christi as a year-round destination for Winter-Texans and consequently, bringing a larger economic impact during the fall and winter months.

“Locals know that fall truly is better on the coast. With an average daily temperature of 70 degrees, we’re aiming to capitalize on Corpus Christ’s year-round beach weather by inviting visitors to experience what we’re calling “second-summer” in the Gulf Coast Capital,” said Meredith Darden, Vice President of Experience at Visit Corpus Christi.
