Corpus Christi, Texas – September 1, 2021 – In an effort to highlight the vast diversity of the local art scene, Visit Corpus Christi has rolled out the “Mural and ArtTrail Pass,” featuring a plethora of picture-perfect murals and unique photo spots.
The Mural and Art Trail is a collection of various murals and art pieces, painted and made by various local artists each with a distinctive style. Offered as a free pass on the Visit Corpus Christi website, visitors and local consumers can take a free self-guided outdoor art tour of Corpus Christi, Texas!
After obtaining the pass, it is instantly delivered to the purchaser’s phone via text and email and is ready to use immediately. When visiting a participating mural or art spot, consumers simply checking via GPS on their phone and must be within .25 miles of the location. Additionally, when checking into The Visitor Info Center, participants can earn a free sticker, and when checking into the art center, they can also earn a free public art collection book. Participants can also tag @visitcorpuschristi on social media and use #CCME for an opportunity to be featured on Visit Corpus Christi’s social media and website.

The pass is the result of a partnership with Bandwango and Visit Corpus Christi’s commitment to create unique experiences for visitors to enjoy. Bandwango is a travel technology platform that creates access to places and experiences for both visitors and locals to enjoy. “Almost nothing is more Instagrammable than a mural, but there’s more to public art than just likes! We really wanted to showcase our destination as the Gulf Coast Capital through the city of Corpus Christi’s vast public art collection and murals that really tell the story of who we are.
