WHAT:  

On April 11, Visit Corpus Christi will join the annual worldwide recognition of Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) with a GMID summit event championing the benefits and impact of professional meetings and events held in the Gulf Coast Capital. GMID, fueled by the U.S. Travel Association’s Meetings Mean Business Coalition, spotlights the proven value that the meetings industry brings to the local economy.  
 
Tourism industry stakeholders and media are welcome to join Visit Corpus Christi in amplifying awareness of their economic influence, job generation, innovation, and community progress fostered by conferences, conventions, and tradeshows at this year’s summit.
