The organization was awarded Gold in the Destination Marketing category for its successful "Coast Your Own Way" advertising campaign, and Silver in the Communication/PR Plan category for the national public relations campaign, "Establishing Texas' Gulf Coast Capital."
These prestigious awards highlight Visit Corpus Christi’s dedication to positioning the city as a premier travel destination and ensuring that the organization’s strategic efforts are recognized globally. The Gold-winning advertising campaign focuses on showcasing Corpus Christi’s unique blend of coastal charm, vibrant culture, and thriving tourism economy, further solidifying its place as a must-visit location on the Texas Gulf Coast.

The Silver award, "Establishing Texas' Gulf Coast Capital," recognizes Visit Corpus Christi's robust PR efforts in building the city’s brand and reputation. Through creative storytelling and targeted media outreach, the campaign has successfully elevated Corpus Christi’s profile as the Gulf Coast Capital.
