Ranch Hand Weekend

Kingsville | November 21 & 22, 2025

Every year, the city of Kingsville hosts Ranch Hand Weekend at King Ranch, the largest working ranch in the United States, and everyone is invited. This annual festival honors the city's rich cultural heritage as a cornerstone of Texas ranching industry and will take place from November 21-22, 2025. Guests can enjoy authentic Texas experiences including delicious food, live music, cooking demonstrations, Western art, storytelling, a classic car show, two-step dancing, and more. Make plans to head on over and experience this one-of-a-kind Texas tradition for yourself.

  • Tree Lighting

    Friday, November 21

    Kick off Ranch Hand Weekend with Kingsville’s annual tree lighting ceremony and downtown celebration. Stroll through local shops open late for holiday shopping, enjoy the sounds of Christmas carols, and take in the beauty of the tree and downtown lighting. The evening also features live music and an art exhibit reception, creating a festive atmosphere that’s perfect for starting the weekend.

  • Ranch Hand Breakfast 

    Saturday, November 22

    Enjoy a heapin’ plate of eggs, refried beans, biscuits n’ gravy, sausage, tortillas, coffee, and juice at the 34th annual Ranch Hand Breakfast, served from 7:00 - 11:00 AM. Enjoy team roping demonstrations, re-enactors, musical entertainment, poetry, and storytelling. Tickets are $10 and available for purchase online or at the King Ranch® Saddle Shop, King Ranch® Visitors Center, King Ranch® Museum, Kingsville Visitors Center, or at the breakfast!

    Saturday, November 22

    Immerse yourself in the true Texas spirit at Ranch Hand Weekend, a full-day festival running from 9 AM to 4 PM. Bring the kids for face painting and Santa selfies, try your hand at archery, and check out the Roundup Car Show by Texas Rides. Browse through local vendor booths for one-of-a-kind finds, enjoy live entertainment throughout the day, and don’t miss a stop at The King Ranch Museum to explore the rich history of this iconic ranch. With fun around every corner, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

    Enjoy a selection of Cowboy and Christmas themed favorites with Symphonic Soundscapes at the TAMUK Performance Hall. Purchase tickets online and choose from various seating options. 

  • Country Concert

    Saturday, November 22, 6:30 PM

    Get ready to cap off Ranch Hand Weekend with an unforgettable country concert under the South Texas sky. This lively show brings together incredible performers, high-energy music, and the welcoming spirit Kingsville is known for. Sing along to your favorite hits, dance with friends, and soak up the atmosphere of one of the festival’s most anticipated traditions.
