Bob Hall Pier on North Padre Island will be temporarily closed to the public on Thursday, April 23, 2026 beginning at 5 a.m. to midnight to allow for scheduled maintenance and reinforcement of the concrete surface. During this time, barricades and clearly marked safety zones will be in place, and visitors are advised to avoid the area while work is underway. The pier is expected to reopen the following day following completion of the improvements.

Kick off the new year with top-tier high school soccer at the 2026 Gulf Coast Soccer Tournament! From January 8-10, the Cabaniss Athletic Complex will host over 16 varsity boys and girls teams from across the region, all competing in a weekend packed with talent, intensity, and sportsmanship.

Whether you're a local fan or visiting the Gulf Coast Capital, come experience the energy and excitement as teams battle it out for tournament honors. Don’t miss this premier showcase of high school soccer in South Texas!
