Annual Mayor's Big Bang Celebration

Downtown Corpus Christi

Come downtown to the Corpus Christi Bayfront for a celebration filled with fireworks and festivities on the bayfront and Water’s Edge Park. Bring family and friends and enjoy food trucks along the bayfront and watch as fireworks are set off from a barge located in the Corpus Christi Bay, north of People’s Street T-Heads. Watch from the Bayfront Seawall or from the USS Lexington’s Flight Deck. The event takes place all day with various events. Check the Mayor's Big Bang Celebration page for more a full schedule. 

Star Spangled Brunch Club

11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. | Bar Under the Sun (BUS)

Start your Fourth of July celebrations with the Star Spangled Brunch Club at BUS. Enjoy a festive afternoon with DJ sets by OREO_SOULLL and ItsOnlyDenzy, specialty coffee from Cafesito, a photo booth by Make Themem, and brunch bites and cocktails in a lively downtown atmosphere. 

Heritage Park Market Days

From 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., walk around the historic homes and browse vendors offering everything from handcrafted jewelry and unique pottery to stylish clothing, baked goods, and more. Enjoy live music, delicious food trucks, and a relaxed shopping atmosphere as you stroll beneath the shade of giant oak trees and past the charming historic homes of Heritage Park. Bring the whole family, and your pups, too!  

4th Annual Coastal Comida Fest

1:00 - 10:00 p.m. | The Water's Edge Park

Bring your appetite to the Great Lawn at Water's Edge Park, where the 4th Annual Coastal Comida Fest serves up an afternoon and evening of great food, live entertainment, and family-friendly fun before the fireworks light up the bay. Browse a variety of food trucks and local vendors, enjoy live music throughout the day, and relax in the beer garden (for guests 21 and older). There will also be giveaways, picnic tables, and tented areas to help you stay comfortable. Admission is free, so you only pay for the food and drinks you choose. Don't forget to bring a lawn chair or blanket, settle in, and stay for the fireworks over Corpus Christi Bay. 

Mayor's Big Bang Fireworks Celebration at Gallery 41

5:00 p.m. | Gallery 41 Water's Edge Grill

Celebrate the Fourth of July on the downtown waterfront with two ways to experience the Mayor's Big Bang Fireworks Show. Choose a VIP patio experience featuring reserved seating, an all-American buffet, full-service dining, and premium fireworks views, or join the outdoor block party with live music by the Michael Burtts Band, food trucks, local vendors, drinks, and a festive atmosphere. 

Red, White & Boom Fireworks Viewing Party

7:00 p.m. | USS Lexington Museum

Celebrate the Fourth of July aboard the iconic USS Lexington Museum during the Red, White and Boom Viewing Party. Enjoy unbeatable views of the fireworks over Corpus Christi Bay from the flight deck while taking in live music, patriotic fun, and a lively atmosphere perfect for the whole family. Food, beer, wine, and patriotic souvenirs will be available for purchase, and guests are encouraged to bring blankets or camp chairs for a comfortable evening under the stars.

Lively Beach Fourth of July Pool Party

Fireworks Over the Water with GlowRow

8:00 p.m. | GlowRow

Experience the Fourth of July from the water during GlowRow's illuminated nighttime kayak tour in Port Aransas. Paddle through the marina in a glowing kayak while watching for local wildlife before settling in for front-row views of the holiday fireworks display over the water. The guided experience begins at 8:00 p.m. and lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

Entrance Fee Free Days at Padre Island National Seashore

July 3 - July 5, 2026

Celebrate America's 250th anniversary with free entrance to Padre Island National Seashore from Friday, July 3, through Sunday, July 5. Spend the holiday weekend exploring miles of undeveloped coastline, fishing, birding, camping, or simply relaxing on the beach. While entrance fees are waived, standard fees for campgrounds and the boat ramp still apply, and fireworks are prohibited throughout the national seashore.

Blue Shore Pedal Lounge Pub Crawl

Gather your crew and explore downtown Corpus Christi on a Blue Shore Pedal Lounge Pub Crawl Tour. This 2-hour experience includes stops at three popular downtown bars and clubs, with time to enjoy each location along the way. Tours are BYOB, and ice and coolers are provided. Available July 3–5 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the tour is open to guests ages 21 and older with a valid ID. A minimum of six riders is required for the tour to operate.

Live Music at Brewster Street
