Annual Mayor’s Big Bang Celebration
Come downtown to the Corpus Christi Bayfront for a celebration filled with fireworks and festivities on the bayfront and Water’s Edge Park. Bring family and friends and enjoy food trucks along the bayfront and watch as fireworks are set off from a barge located in the Corpus Christi Bay, north of People’s Street T-Heads. USS Lexington Red, White, and Boom Fireworks Viewing Party
Experience the Fourth of July from the best seat in town, atop the USS Lexington’s flight deck! The Red, White & Boom Viewing Party offers unbeatable views of the Mayor’s Big Bang Fireworks Show over Corpus Christi Bay. Starting at 7:00 p.m., enjoy live music by The Chainlinks, grab food, snacks, beer, or wine on site, and settle in for an unforgettable night. Chairs are provided, or bring your own blanket or camp chair. Reservations required.
Summer Bay Jammin’ Concert Series
Pack your picnic and head to the Cole Park Amphitheater for an evening of live music, coastal breezes, and festive fun. Every Friday during the summer, at 7:30 p.m., the Bay Jammin’ CINEMA Series brings free, family-friendly movies to the lawn, perfect for a laid-back night under the stars. Start your sunny Saturday at Heritage Park with some outdoor shopping from over 100 local vendors. From 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., walk around the historic homes and browse vendors offering everything from handcrafted jewelry and unique pottery to stylish clothing, baked goods, and more. Enjoy live music, delicious food trucks, and a relaxed shopping atmosphere as you stroll beneath the shade of giant oak trees and past the charming historic homes of Heritage Park. Bring the whole family, and your pups, too!

Hooks Baseball Game
Spend the evening at the Ballpark by the Bay as the Corpus Christi Hooks, the Double A-Affiliate of the Houston Astros, go against the San Antonio Missions and enjoy postgame Independence Day fireworks show. Enjoy their in-house Whataburger, Nolan Ryan’s Smokehouse, Kona Ice, and more. You can even try a Relief Pitcher, a “beer bat” filled with strawberry daiquiris or lime margaritas. Remember: bags should be clear plastic or vinyl and no larger than 16”x16” into the field.

10th Annual Corpus Christi Food Summerfest 2025
Bring your appetite to Downtown Corpus Christi at 601 N. Shoreline Blvd., where you’ll find tons of food trucks serving up delicious food for everyone to enjoy. You’ll also enjoy live music from 30 different bands, an arts and crafts alley, face painting, and a petting zoo. Kids can also get in on the fun at the Kid’s Truck Zone. The festival will run from 12:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. and is free of charge. You only pay for the great food. This festival will run from Friday, July 4 – Sunday, July 6.
Blue Shore Pedal Lounge Pub Crawl
Hop on the Blue Shore Pedal Lounge for a 2-hour-long Pub Crawl Tour. Enjoy the evening scenery while the driver takes you to 3 of the hottest bars and clubs in the downtown area. Complimentary alcoholic beverages are provided, while supplies last. Tours are available between July 4 – July 6 from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. and are for guests aged 21+.
