Every year, Conquer the Coast brings cyclers of all levels to Corpus Christi for an unforgettable ride! Whether you're a seasoned cycler or leisure rider, you can expect a scenic route filled with palm trees and waterfront views. If you're up for the challenge, here are all the things you need to know about Conquer the Coast before registering yourself for the race!

The Race is an Annual Tradition

Every year, cyclers from the Coastal Bend area, Texas, and beyond make their way to the Gulf Coast Capital for the race. This year, Conquer the Coast will be celebrating its 22nd year! Coast over on September 21 and be a part of this highly anticipated event.

You Have 3 Scenic Routes to Choose From

Starting at the famous Whataburger Field, each route differs in distance -- but have no fear, each one has stunning views of the city and waterfront.

  • 66-Mile Ride: A challenging ride for seasoned cycles. This ride goes on the Harbor Bridge and has great views of the Texas State Aquarium and USS Lexington before going through 6 coastal communities in the area. This route will take you on the Port Aransas ferry, down the length of Mustang Island, over the JFK Causeway, down the famous Ocean Drive, and then along the Corpus Christi Marina before making your way back to Whataburger Field
  • 21-Mile Ride: This is an intermediate course for those wanting a challenge that isn't as rigorous. Enjoy a ride down Ocean Drive, past Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (a school that is on its very own island), and near the Naval Air Station Corpus Christi. Comfort bikes, hybrids, and mountain bikes are suitable for this ride.
  • 10-Mile Ride: This is a more leisurely ride that's perfect for families, children, and casual riders. Enjoy a nice ride along Ocean Drive without the pressure of a competition!

Be sure to register through this link for the 2024 race.
