Conquer the Coast 

September 20 | Whataburger Field

Every year, cyclers from the Coastal Bend area, Texas, and beyond make their way to the Gulf Coast Capital for the Conquer the Coast Century Ride race. The annual tradition is in its 22nd year and continues to grow as it earns its reputation of being one of the most unique rides in Texas.   Cyclers can choose from 66-, 21-, and 10-mile rides for a cycling experience that delivers an unforgettable journey through scenic routes and a rewarding experience for riders of all skill levels. 

 

Celebration of Flight

September 26-28 | Hazel Bazemore Park

Hawk migration is a true spectacle of the natural world and Corpus Christi HawkWatch has the largest and most diverse in the country. In celebration, large groups will gather at Hazel Bazemore County Park for a family-friendly event with free activities in the park. Volunteers will be on hand to help identify hawks for visitors, and vendors, raptor merchandise, and food trucks will be present throughout the festival. 

 

Run the Runway

September 27 | Corpus Christi International Airport

Get ready for a one-of-a-kind experience at Corpus Christi International Airport’s runway! Whether you're running or walking, enjoy up-close views of planes, trucks, and special airport vehicles. The event features a 1K Kids Fun Run followed by a 5K for all ages, with all proceeds benefiting Wings of Texas, a nonprofit promoting inclusivity in the Coastal Bend. Don’t miss your chance to explore the world of aviation while supporting a great cause!

 

Rockin’ K Farms

September 27 - November 2

This highly anticipated annual fall festival runs late September through November and attracts families from all over the Coastal Bend. Enjoy photo ops, delicious food and drinks, over 20 attractions, the iconic maze, and more. Get the whole family together and treat everyone to a memorable tradition. The maze paths are five foot wide and maze grounds are flat, so the area is even wheelchair accessible. 

 

PRIDE Parade & Block Party

October 4 | Location TBD

Celebrate PRIDE with a family-friendly parade! This celebration comes with no shortage of inclusivity, lively music, and fun times. Coast in for an exciting parade followed by a block party at the end! 

 

Texas Jazz Festival 

October 17-19 | Heritage Park

Jazz makes its way to Corpus Christi in October for the longest and largest free-running festival in the world. Held at Heritage Park, the Texas Jazz Festival is a free event open to all ages and features incredible live music, food, and market vendors.  Coast over and join us in celebrating the 64th year for this signature event.  

 

Surftoberfest

October 18 | Executive Surf Club

Enjoy a coastal spin on the classic German Octoberfest celebration, held at Executive Surf Club. Join in on the Homebrew Competition, a Beer Stein Holding Contest, German fare, live music, and more. This one-day festival is located in the heart of downtown at Water Street Market and a local favorite, so coast over and celebrate Octoberfest, coastal style. 

 

Sharkathon

October 24-26 | Padre island National Seashore

Sharkathon stands as one of the largest conservation-based shark fishing tournaments. Held at Padre Island National Seashore and Corpus Christ beaches (exclusions apply), this event aims to educate fishermen on the importance of catch-and-release when it comes to sharks and the importance of sea life preservation. This tournament has evolved over the years and with its growth comes an increase in cash and prizes, now totaling over $80,000. Proceeds from raffle sales are used to support educational opportunities for underprivileged children.  

 

Dia de los Muertos Festival

November 1 | 3 PM - Midnight | Downtown Corpus Christi

Recognized as one of the nation’s top Dia de Los Muertos celebrations, our local festival brings life, music, and culture to the downtown community. Honor and celebrate this annual tradition with us in the midst of vendors and food trucks lining the streets, sugar skulls galore and costumes at every turn, arts and crafts, ofrendas, and lots of music. There’s also a Children’s Corner, where kids can let loose and have their fun their own way as they climb, paint, jump, and more.  

Greek Food Festival 

November 7-9 | St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church

Join us as Greece comes to the Gulf Coast Capital in an annual celebration of food, music, and culture. Held at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, this festival celebrates Greek culture with live music, Greek dancing, Greek Food, Church Tours, and more. Choose from Gyros and Spanakopita to various types of Baklava and Greek Beer, enjoy some dancing, and experience Greece in your own way. 

 

Corpus Christi Beer Festival

November 15 | 3 PM - 7 PM | Heritage Park

Get ready for the ultimate craft beer celebration at the Corpus Christi Beer Festival at Heritage Park. Sample a wide range of brews, enjoy live music, food trucks, local vendors, and even free Family Art Time. Admission is free, and guests 21+ can purchase tasting tickets.

Ranch Hand Festival

November 22 | 9 AM - 4 PM | Kingsville Mainstreet 

Coast over for a weekend of food, fun, and family as the city of Kingsville celebrates the Ranch Hand Festival on November 22nd. This festival honors the city’s rich cultural heritage as one of the mainstays of the Texas ranching industry. As you explore the ranch itself, enjoy shopping, a wine walk, tree lighting, a hearty breakfast, festival, orchestra, a country concert, and more. 

 

Jewish Food Festival 

November 15-16 | Congregation Beth Israel

The annual Jewish Food Festival is returning this year to share Jewish heritage with the community at Congregation Beth Israel. Guests can expect food, a vintage shop, a raffle, a silent auction, dancing, and music. The menu features many Jewish favorites like Lox and Bagel, Matzo Ball Soup, Cabbage Rolls with Challah, and more. This festival offers free admission, but other items are for sale, and proceeds benefit the local temple.
