The Corpus Christi 7 Day Film Project (CC7D) has been around since 2007 and its main purpose was to give the local community an annual event to test their skills exercising every creative muscle. Over the past 15 years, CC7D has celebrated area filmmakers - both veterans and amateurs, created an avenue for more filmmaking activity in the Coastal Bend, and boosted the skill set and created resume experience for local filmmakers, actors, and crew. Check out the following schedule of events at House of Rock and Alamo Drafthouse – Corpus Christi: 

CC7D Cast and Crew Call

Interested in joining a CC7D team or you just want to create one but need help building it? Attend the Cast and Crew call to connect with the creative community to find actors, musicians, screenwriters, cinematographers, and volunteers to make your movie. Space is limited, so sign up early!

CC7D Kick-Off

Your journey begins here. Team Leaders can register, and receive the annual Essential Elements, Filmmaker Documents, and the official deadline time for turn-in. The registration fee is $60.00, cash only. Ready. Set. Go!

CC7D Turn-In

After 7 full days of working those creative muscles and having a blast creating your film, it’s time to celebrate! Share your experiences with other teams and see who makes it to the finish line.

CC7D Screening Day

September 1, 12:30 p.m. | Alamo Drafthouse

The day of film viewing is here! All qualifying CC7D films are shown in a premier theater experience at Alamo Drafthouse-Corpus Christi. Be sure to purchase your ticket to see some incredible films.

CC7D Awards Ceremony

September 1 | House of Rock

CC7D teams and film fans are invited to an award ceremony celebrating the achievements of the filmmakers and bid farewell to the current CC7D year. Awards announced include Juried Awards, Acting Awards, and Element Awards.
