Texas Jazz Festival

The Texas Jazz Festival takes place October 17-19, 2025 and is held at the iconic Heritage Park in downtown Corpus Christi. 

Hours of Operation

Yes. It's the longest-running free jazz festival in the country, open to all. The only thing you need to pay for is food, drinks, and any shopping from the incredible vendors available throughout the park. 

You'll hear a wide variety of jazz, from local and regional acts to national and international artists. Expect both classic and contemporary styles across three stages. There is limited seating, so bring lawn chairs if you prefer to be seating during the performances. 

Yes. You'll find food vendors, food trucks, artisan booths, and and a beer and wine garden right at the festival site! Be sure to bring cash. Credit/debit cards have a 5% fee. 

Yes! The festival welcomes jazz lovers of all ages with a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere for everyone in the family to enjoy. Pets are allowed, but must be on a leash! 

You can park at Heritage Park or on nearby downtown streets. If you prefer, there are free park and ride services available to take you directly to the festival without the trouble of finding parking! 

This is an outdoor festival, so keep weather and comfort in mind. In Corpus Christi, the weather is still hot/humid during the day, but could get cooler by nighttime. Dress comfortably and check local weather for more updates to be prepared!
