1. Pint Night at Executive Surf Club
Head out to the Executive Surf Club and enjoy draft beer. With nearly 30 brews on tap, and a few in rotation, $2 Pint Night is the place to be on Tuesday evenings. Enjoy varietals from around the world, the states, and locally. And don’t forget to pair your draft with some delicious appetizers, like the fried mushrooms or zesty club queso.
2. Live Music at Brewster Street Ice House
Brewster Street Ice House is a Texas-themed bar that has everything you need for a night well spent. Introduce yourself to some good ol’ Texas Country while the kids enjoy Texas Blue Bell ice cream and a playground. Make sure to grab a bite to eat from their variety of excellent food and enjoy a drink from their full bar.
3. Go on a Craft Beer Adventure
Nothing beats a pint on the patio, especially in Downtown Corpus Christi. Kick back and relax with some live music, food, and a variety of brews at downtown staples like Nueces Brewing, Rebel Toad Brewing, and Railroad Seafood Station.
4. Grow Local Farmers' Market
Located in the beautiful outdoor area of the Art Center of Corpus Christi, the Grow Local Farmers Market offers crafts, produce and other products from our local artisans every Wednesday evening. Alongside the Farmers' Market is the Art Center's Artisan Market which features tons of local art and goods.
5. Tour, Dine, and Shop on the Water
Harrison's Landing is the ultimate one-stop-shop to get your water, seafood, and shopping fix. Enjoy a relaxing ride aboard Japonica, a 50-foot, open-touring boat, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the beautiful downtown Marina and skyline in the heart of Corpus Christi Bay. Find gifts and pieces created by local artists and photographers at Cathy’s Boutique and Gifts. Finally, enjoy a tasty meal and drinks at Harrison's. It’s the only place in town that has a floating bar!
6. Get Inspired Through Art
They don't call it the Marina Arts District for no reason! Looking for contemporary art made by locals? Coast on over to K Space Contemporary and the Art Center of Corpus Christi. If you're looking for regional and international artworks, head over to the Art Museum of South Texas, an architectural masterpiece and landmark on our Bayfront! While you’re there, enjoy delicious food and breathtaking harbor views at Elizabeth’s at the Art Museum. 7. Live Music, Pizza, and Beer at House of Rock
After 20 years in Downtown Corpus Christi, House of Rock is still the go-to venue for local music artists, their fans, and beer lovers alike. The dough-tossing, salad-crafting kitchen is open seven days a week, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Don’t leave this place without trying the meatballs and the Supreme Me Pie!
8. Bar Hopping
The neighborhood is home to several trendy bars that make a mean cocktail! From a converted bus station to a former gas station, it's safe to say our downtown bars are like no other. Take in the sights and sounds of the city and enjoy some of the best drinks on the coast.
9. Go Vintage Shopping
If you're looking for a chic and unique thrifting experience, look no further than Downtown Corpus Christi. From classic finds in a historic home at Chels Marie Boutique to unique gems at 20/20 Vintage and vintage streetwear at VNP Gallery, there's never a dull day of shopping!
10. Take a Walk Along the Seawall
Situated on the Bayfront and alongside the Corpus Christi Municipal Marina, the sea wall is a mecca for the outdoors. Whether you're looking for a scenic dog walk, a trip to McGee Beach, a park with a playscape, or a trail to run, bike, or skate, the Sea Wall is the place to be! Make sure to stop by People’s St. T-Head and check out Norma Urban Park’s new seasonal redesign complete with a colorful ground mural, new park seating, shaded awnings, hammocks, and photo ops. Also, don't forget to pay your respects at the Selena statue AKA Mirador de la Flor.
