McGee Beach in Corpus Christi is a top destination for sports and outdoor events along the bayfront. With room for up to nine sand courts, the beach is perfect for volleyball, soccer, and rugby, all set against the backdrop of the Corpus Christi Bay.

Just a few steps from the beach, the Islander Pavilion features a covered basketball court, paved parking, shaded rest areas, and brick-and-mortar restrooms. The space also includes picnic tables and electrical hookups, making it ideal for food trucks, live music, or event vendors. on the north end, The Great Lawn provides a large green space that accommodates field sports like soccer, rugby, and lacrosse. 

Visitors can easily move between McGee beach and Water's Edge Park thanks to a pedestrian-friendly path connecting restrooms, food trucks, and spectator seating. The seawall pavilion, complete with ADA access and built-in seating, offers shaded views of the bay and doubles as a beautiful setting for beachside receptions or gatherings.
